Customer Service: one Star

I've been with ST for a long time, probably xv years. The reception yous volition get depends on the towers your phone will use. For instance, my old phone worked off AT&T towers, so my reception was so-and so. I could make calls and texts, simply sometimes my texts would take 2 minutes to go out my phone. But I upgraded to a 5G phone that runs off Verizon towers, so now my service is lightning fast. Information technology does things as fast as my fingers tin move. Information technology'southward crawly! Unlike phones will piece of work off unlike towers, and so practice your research and talk to others in your surface area to observe out which companies accept adept coverage.

Now the bad. Customer Service. It's bottomless. It used to exist really good and you could get your telephone upwards and running in less than an hour. Only my new telephone switched from at&t to Verizon, it took over 20 calls over a ii day period to get my number ported from ane to the other. I could go to a certain point in the call and and so I got cutting off. 20 times. I'one thousand non joking---my roommate and I counted! I finally went to bed and tried the next day. Same thing. But finally the universe smiled on me and I got continued to the right person and she had information technology up and running in less than two minutes. It was beyond frustrating. It was so bad I had called Mint Mobile and ordered a trial pack. So, in determination, every bit long as information technology is working, life is swell. If you have to call customer service, God be with you.

Salvage $xxx each calendar month. Kickoff up was hard. If using FedEx delivery, use the more experience service option, or buy at WalMart. Went to library and used WiFi until phone number transferred. It'south a bit catchy if you go along your ain number. Neat speed and access.

Reliable service is very of import to me. Straight Talk has been my provider for 8 years, and I have always gotten the all-time toll on data and the about reliable service. The coverage has been excellent. At that place have been many times where people whom I am with couldn't use their phones and they had to use mine. Aside from hardware problems (with the telephone itself) I don't think having whatsoever issues with the service. I always recommend Straight talk.

All the years I've had this carrier. I've merely had i disagreement with them. I concluded upwardly losing 3 weeks of prepaid service that I had paid for. I bought a new phone. Transferred my telephone number. But less than one week later. My service was cut off. And had been less than i week since I bought the $90 prepaid card. That covers ii of the $55 ultimate unlimited accounts. But I didn't save the pin numbers. The other line maintained its total month of service. But because I didn't keep the old pivot number. Customer service told me that there was nix that they could do to assistance me with the loss of the 3 weeks of service. So that was my bad feel.

As far as service coverage, reliability, clarity I take never had any complaints with Directly Talk. Always dependable coverage surface area. Always at the very least at that place has e'er been live customer support, when needed, 24 hrs. a twenty-four hours. Maybe a piffling hard to fully empathize the foreign dialect/accent at times. Only they have ever been there to talk to when needed. That by itself is saying a lot these days.

I am very unhappy. I been on hold for more than one hr and that'southward just incorrect. If you're that busy, become some help!!! people take better things to do than sit in concord for and so long. No reason for this at all. I been a client for many years but I'm searching a new place cause Straight Talk is just too busy and now their information'south not working and I can't go a agree of anyone to fix information technology. Sit and wait hours and can't get help anyway. I am definitely switching phone companies...

I ran out of information, and next morning, I could no longer send texts or make phone calls. And so I used wifi to pay for service to begin a day early, simply it did not. Went 36 hours with Goose egg service. (Non slow service...NO SERVICE.) Called customer service, literally took ALL Day LONG of getting passed around and beingness on hold, once for 91 minutes before I was told that what happened was not possible.

I like the coverage, although I brought my ain phone which I was told was uniform, just had to choose second best choice because apparently my phone is NOT compatible with the best available service. I detest this visitor because it has ZERO integrity and would non recommend it to anyone. I'm only using it because I dislike tech anyhow. But having phone seems a necessary evil in this order. And so I get cheapest I tin find.

Customer service has no clue what they're doing in that location reading from a screen and yous can tell. I wanted to switch from a $45 plan to the $35 plan and they made me cancel my business relationship become a new number they couldn't become my phone that was merely working to work so I had switching to an older telephone and they withal couldn't get that to work if you lot answer my phone calls but can't connect to internet. I kept telling them all I demand is today at APN settings. they kept telling me this wasn't truthful that I know the problem was and what your answer me so I get hung upwards on afterward hours of being on hold at waiting for phone calls I told him just to abolish my my programme altogether and I would just go through someone else. just to see I jumped online and found my phone settings for Straight Talk to go the APN settings on a unlike website and enter them in and my telephone.

It Worked perfectly good job I'm still switch providers when this months up because that is pathetic hours of my life wasted plus 4 days without a phone and they are completely stumped I do non piece of work with phones and I fixed the problem on my terminate pathetic I've been going through them for at least 3 years now just I'thousand working with incompetent people. I started with a s20 and had to downgrade to an s8 because they had no clue what they were doing. Now I have to figure what service provider and I'm sure I had to switch numbers once again and I accept wasted literally hours and 4 days without a phone.

The wort company I have had!!!!!. I was a loyal customer since 2009- Anytime I called customer service the experience was horrible. The agents seemed like they were reading from a script. They would repeat everything back to you before moving forward in the conversation. The final thing that pissed me off- They rolled out 5G and gave customers no warning! WHO does that? (no text, no curtesy telephone call- nothing!) One day I picked up my phone to use information technology and information technology didn't work. When I called in I got an automatic message saying that my service volition end a week ago and that I need to call in to receive a gratis telephone.

I was so annoyed by the fact that they rolled this out this way. They said I would have to wait 1-6 days to get a free phone in the mail service. I can't look that long. I have family that live in other areas and need to be able to get in bear upon with me – not to mention employers etc.. I asked if they tin just give me a voucher to go to Walmart and get a new phone. They said no.

I went over to Verizon and become a prepaid service which is (much better) than straight-talking. Certainly non this corporeality of hassle. (oh btw Verizon has no contract plans and more choice of plans with more data and better coverage.) I wanted to keep my number, and then Verizon needed to asking a port from straight talk.

Would you lot believe that Verizon fabricated the request and straight talk sat on it for days and then told Verizon it was besides tardily, and I needed to reactivate my service nether them to brand my one-time number active then that Verizon tin port it.

I take called into them viii times dealing with this very outcome and they keep me on hold for an average of 45 mins saying that they need to transfer me to someone who tin aid. And then I got the telephone like they said to activate my service and when they saw that I did that, they duck and didge me when I telephone call in. Information technology'due south the craziest thing I accept always seen. I feel similar they did this in hopes that I would requite up and stay with them. WHO DOES THIS??????

I AM LEAVING THEM ANYWAY AND GETTING A NEW NUMBER. This company/service has gone to garbage in the customer service space and while you lot pay a actually cheap price for their service, the customer service is THE WORST!!!!!! They will tell you they are on Verizon's towers and others similar T- Mobile etc simply the truth is that they rent space on their towers and the major carrier's tower priority is to their MAIN customers and not 3rd party services and cutting rate services similar straight talk. In the result something goes wrong the major carriers volition prioritize service to their Master carriers over Tracfone customers. I was with them for years and this is what they recollect of me. There are many options from the major carriers in the prepaid space and no contract infinite- Don't requite yourself headache by going with straight talk. You will certainly regret it. Simply as I do.

I accept been a loyal Straight Talk client for nearly a decade. Direct talk doesn't care how long you have been with their service. If you run into a technical outcome, they will simply ignore you lot. When I activated the esim in my phone, it did not activate properly, and I lost all prison cell service. Subsequently five hours talking to technical support, existence hung up on multiple times, and being ghosted by support, I decided to switch carriers. Their technical back up repeatedly lied to me and would oft brand statements saying that their computer froze or that they dropped the telephone call. All I wanted was a functioning phone, but their technical support is incapable of helping you if literally anything goes wrong.
